Made a Little Differently

Glasswater started with a 3D printer, too many ideas, and a habit of turning "I wonder if I could make that?" into another side project.

We’re a small Husband+Wife Florida based maker shop creating 3D printed decor, collectibles, functional pieces, fidgets, light boxes, and whatever else catches our interest along the way.

Everything you order from Glasswater is actually made here. We print, assemble, finish, inspect, and package our products ourselves. Our shop includes a mix of our own original designs and pieces produced from designs by talented creators we work with and support.

No warehouse full of mass-produced inventory. No mystery package being shipped from somewhere else. Just a small shop, a growing collection of 3D printers, and probably at least one machine running while you’re reading this.

From Digital to Physical

One of our favorite things about 3D printing is watching something go from an idea or digital model to an actual object you can hold.

Sometimes that means designing something completely from scratch. Sometimes it’s modifying, experimenting, prototyping, or finding a design we love and bringing it to life in our own shop. And sometimes it’s making something simply because we think it’d look ridiculously cool sitting on a shelf.

Our illuminated light boxes are a good example. Each one combines full-color 3D printing with LED backlighting to create a vibrant, stained-glass-inspired display, then gets assembled and tested by us before it leaves the shop.

Whatever we’re making, we want the finished product to be something we’d be happy to have in our own home.

Made to Order in Florida

Glasswater is based in Florida, and many of our products are made to order.

3D printing is an additive manufacturing process, meaning every piece is physically built one layer at a time. Because of that, subtle layer lines and small variations can occasionally be visible. They’re a natural part of the process and part of what separates a 3D printed piece from something injection molded by the thousands.

We’re constantly experimenting, finding new designs, creating our own, and figuring out what else we can make with these machines. So there’s always something new on the way.
